LF is without a doubt the beat decision we have made for our little girl. She started just before her first birthday and now she has just turned 3. We don’t actually live in the immediate area and we travel out of our way, passing a number of other nurseries, but for us it was obvious where we wanted to go after viewing 8 others in the area. The transition period in the early days was brilliant as we all adapted to a new routine and to my little one having new people in her life. We felt like the support wasn’t just there for our child but also us. We feel very much included in every aspect of her care & learning. We are provided with a detailed, written summary each day of what she has eaten, when she has slept and activities she has taken part in. The staff take time to talk to us at pick ups and drop offs and feel like they are more then carers. The quality of love, care, learning and extra curricular activities has made my child the confident 3 year old she is now. She regularly talks about her day and the friends she has played with. It is no wonder that LF is an outstanding day nursery.

I have 2 children who attend LF. They both started at a young age, therefore we have experience in all rooms. Finding a nursery for your children is a daunting experience but as soon as I walked through the door at LF , we were made to feel so welcome. The one thing that stood out for us was that when Debs (the director) showed us round, she knew every single child’s name and every child had such a great relationship with her and were so happy to see her. The staff treat all children like an extended part of the family! This sold it for us! We couldn’t want for a better nursery for our children to attend.

Just to say thank you for all you have done to help Charlotte settle over the last six months. I think she will actually miss her time at nursery now!

I just wanted to say congratulations on winning the Medium Size Business Award for 2012 at the Southend Business Awards on Friday! The passion you and your staff have for working with children, along with your fantastic customer service shows you fully deserve this award.

We would just like to say a very big THANK YOU! It’s never nice to hand your baby over to ‘strangers’ to look after every day because we had to work. Luckily we discovered Little Footprints Day Nursery. We handed you a crying baby girl. Today we collect – sadly for the last time – a happy, potty-trained little girl. Thank you for all your hard work. We are very excited about emigrating to Australia but truly sad to leave such a fantastic nursery behind. Annika will dearly miss all the staff and her friends.

Thank you to you all! Stanley would not be the child he is today without all of the care and guidance you have given him. You have treated him as a member of your family, thank you! K&T

When my daughter started the nursery I was both a new mum and new to the area, Little footprints turned out to be the best decision I could have made. It has given my daughter hours of fun & happiness, (at one stage she didn’t want to come home). Her social, emotional and educational needs have all been met over and above what I initially expected, in part due to the caring and friendly staff with their rigorous daily planning and the home-from-home, family atmosphere created in the nursery. I cannot thank the staff enough for the way they have looked after my daughter. For the advice and help with the different stages of her development from weaning and sleep patterns through to potty training and the terrible 2’s– for a new mum this was invaluable. The parent’s mornings have been really helpful too. As a working mum It is so nice to sit and chat about your child’s development: See evidence of the milestones they are reaching, and discuss the individualised work that they are doing. As a part-time teacher I understand the importance of continuity and familiarity and I’m secure in the mind that transition to ‘Big school’ will be less traumatic for my daughter then for most. The contact with the attached primary school is great; watching school plays and visits to the reception classes have helped take away the fear of the unknown. I would without doubt recommend Little Footprints as the most fabulous place for your child to grow & develop.

I would like to pass on my thoughts to perspective parents looking for a nursery and not knowing which one to choose….my little boy only started this year (2019) and attends 4 days a week. The transition was very smooth and the nursery were so accommodating. We had various settling sessions, with no extra cost and were made to feel so comfortable with every new member we came in to connect with. Since starting he has developed into this confident and self assured child who is happy to go to any member of staff! He is offered a range of different food along with lots of healthy options, much to his disgust! I love the fact that I get to see updates on the nursery Facebook page, which is great! Not only do I see how much he plays outside, but this has largely contributed to his development in his mobility and balance. We are also very pleased with the enrichment that is provided through visits from outside agencies such as, mini -stars. This was an important consideration for us in choosing our nursery as Harley was used to attending baby sensory classes which included musical and visual stimulation. Thank you so LF for making the transition as easy as it can be.

I want to post the biggest thanks to all the staff at Little Footprints for going above and beyond for my beautiful boy Sebastian. We placed Sebastian in nursery at 11 months old unaware of the journey he was about to take. He has since been diagnosed with Autism, Global Development Delay, Sensory Processing Disorder and non-verbal. Little Footprints have had a huge impact on not only Sebastian’s life but also ours. The good days and the bad days, they have devoted their time and attention to Sebastian’s needs whilst working with his therapist, learning new skills and furthering their knowledge to help other children in the future. I’m so sad for him to say goodbye but I will make sure he never forgets them and what they have done for him. I will always have a place in my heart for this beautiful group of women. If you are looking for a nursery like no other then Little Footprints Nursery is your childcare dream!!!! Thank you all so very much xxxxxxxxx

We chose to send our son to Little Footprints Day Nursery because it has a lovely ‘home-from-home’ atmosphere, unlike some of the larger nurseries which felt a bit clinical. We have always found Little Footprints to have a warm, friendly and caring environment. All of the staff really know the children, their developing individual personalities and those of their parents/carers! As a parent you know that your child will be looked after. It has been really reassuring to see the bond our son has developed with his key workers, they obviously genuinely care about him and have got to know all of his little quirks! From a practical point of view the nursery staff, and Director in particular, have always been extremely accommodating, helping us with an extra day or change of days and times here and there when needed. The regular reports and parent’s mornings ensure your child’s development is a real focus and that you can work in partnership with the nursery staff to ensure your child’s progress towards the key learning milestones at a pace that suits them. It gives me real peace of mind to go to work knowing our son is in such a happy, caring, fun environment. I would definitely recommend Little Footprints Day Nursery to my friends.

Oliver has had lots of fun and good memories will go with him when he leaves. All the staff made him welcome and have taught him lots of things. He will miss you all but has learned good skills and confidence to take with him when he starts school.

Thank you for the wonderful care and attention our two sons Will and Eliot have received whilst attending your Nursery. We truly feel that they received the best care possible whilst they were with you and would recommend Little Footprints to any of our friends and family with no hesitation. All of your team have helped to create a real loving/family feel to the nursery which we had not seen in the other nurseries that Will attended prior to coming to Little Footprints. Sending our boys to you has been one of the best decisions we have made with regard to their upbringing and we would like to thank you personally for everything you have done.

Having to find a nursery for my first born was one of the most unsettling and worrying times of my life. I spent ages reviewing and visiting all the options in my local area even during my pregnancy as I knew I would have to return to work. I saw many settings, some much larger than Little Footprints and some with more facilities etc. but it was the warm, welcoming and family feel I received when visiting Little Footprints that made it an easy decision for me to entrust them with my most special thing, my first child, Georgia. I believe Georgia is a bright, well rounded little girl and in her first year of school now she is doing really well. I put this down to her personality, the tight family unit we have and the nursery care we found in Little Footprints. Little Footprints allowed her to build valuable relationships with staff and peers, she was encouraged and supported in her learning and development and was kept safe and well. I never worried about leaving Georgia which made returning to work that much easier. Having to find nursery care for my second child, Amelia, was obviously a much easier experience and I guess that is the greatest compliment you can give. The staff at Little Footprints are very personable, hard working and show a genuine interest and love for the children they care for. I believe it is to their testament that the business seems to be thriving and have a well respected reputation in the local area. Both my children seem to be thriving as individuals and I thank Little Footprints for that!
